The Mysterious Providence of God

Praise be to God, who knows our hearts and is
deeply aquainted with every human frailty and
human inadequacy. He is guiding us, He led the
Apostle Paul, even when the missionaries were
¨trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus
did not permit them.¨ (Acts 16:7). May we be
willing to be led when the Good Shepherd moves
us along... (John 3:8; 10), at the same time working
out the salvation that He is working out within us.

Praise for safety

Praying friends, we wanted to thank you for praying.
Though therewas much evidence of high level
corruption and voting fraud we praise God that there
was much less violence in Sunday´s presidential
elections here in Nicaragua.

We praise God as well for putting it in my heart to have Damaris
stay home from voting due to warnings about potential danger
out in the streets in Managua.

My sister-in-law who my wife was supposed
to travel with to go vote was robbed by two
men at gun point, though she threw her purse,
in the yard where she was ringing a doorbell. The
two men ran away. Damaris mother was with her,
they are both fine. Both of them need to be saved,
and we pray that this situation may allow them to
all out to God for salvation.

They were happy to hear that we were
actually at home having family devotions and
praying for them about the time that the attempted
robbery took place the morning of the elections.

Praying for the Nicaragua Presidential elections

Please pray with us for the Nicaraguan Presidential elections, this Sunday (Nov. 6). It is also my wife´s b-day. We are praying much, as last elections in 2007 were very violent, and plagued with corruption. Nicaragua has had many issues related to political corruption. We pray for righteousness to reign in Nicaragua, and that the elections would be non-violent, honest and transparent.

¨But let justice role down like waters
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.¨ (Amos 5:24)
