Reformation in Missions!
I am deeply persuaded that as today marks the near 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation that more than ever a new Reformation is needed amongst the church of Jesus Christ on a world wide scale. If we fail to uphold to preach Christ crucified, and pursue a cross-center posture in every area of world missions...we have failed to rightly represent God. Yes, word and deed is central to true biblical Christianity, but deeds without ¨sound words¨ with not rightly glorify God (1 Tim. 4:16 ¨Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching...)

Missions News for Oct. 2011
“We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ...” (2 Cor. 10:5)
Greetings from Nicaragua! The past couple months have flown by rapidly. We are blessed to have experienced the hand of God in our work and family life, and believe that God is leading us in His perfect will. One mark in the progress of the Bible school, which is slowly adding one new Pastor or church leader to its ranks on an ongoing basis, was the beginning of their fourth course for 2011. The course is a study of Apologetics (from the Greek word apologia translated defense in 1 Pet. 3:15, thus signifying a defense of the Christian faith), introduced by Dr. Eric Pennings with Miami International Seminary. We are encouraging the students that their work at evangelism is not a cookie cutter approach; every soul has a distinct understanding of life. Just as many stories of conversions to Christ are found in the book of Acts, so the work of communicating the Gospel to the lost world of individuals around us requires us to understand those to whom we tell of “the hope that lies within [us]”.
